The rapid spread of COVID-19 over the past few weeks is dramatically affecting people around the world. We would like to take a moment to communicate our commitment to doing what we can to help keep our team and our community safe during this rapidly evolving situation.
First and foremost, we are doing our best to make thoughtful decisions based on the most current information available. Your Experience is important to us but our top priority is the health and safety of our customers and employees. We are working diligently to create a clean and comfortable environment by doing the following:
- We are increasing the frequency of regular cleaning practices, using anti-bacterial and sanitizing cleaning products in all spaces within our stores, including the receiving area, all tables, the cashier area, and bathrooms. All areas are being cleaned thoroughly every 30 minutes or less.
- All of our employees are required to wash their hands every 30 minutes with hot water and soap throughout shifts. In addition, every employee handling paletas is required to use a sanitizer every time they take their gloves off.
- Until further notice, we will restrict the use of cash in our stores in order to avoid any contact between customers and employees.
- If you are still not feeling safe coming to our stores, while the country deals with this situation, we have available third-party online ordering systems such as uberEATS, Postmates or Doordash and also you can order online at our own website so you can enjoy our amazing flavors in the comfort of your home.
